I Have a Dream....

The name calling, the judgements, the torture, is this what the world is coming to? There is one little word that is the reason for this madness, a bully. A bully is not just someone who starts fights and gets in trouble all the time. A bully is someone who constantly belittles others. A big issue is the expansion. Bullies are everywhere! Children from all over are experiencing the name calling, the judgments, and the torture. Some kids have even taken their own lives because they couldn’t take the everyday fear of being bullied. It may seem like it’s not that big of a deal, but it is a growing issue and it will only get worse. I would hate to see more kids end their lives because of someone at school bullied them. The sad part is bullying is misunderstood by many people. For instance, kids in school, when the schools hold meetings to discuss the matter, they usually sugar coat things. This is not a matter to sugar coat. This is serious and everyone should understand the degree of insanity it takes to be a true bully. If a child gets teased at school, it isn’t something that should be happening, but it can’t even compare to how it feels to be the victim of a bully. When a child gets teased, it usually won’t last long. When you are bullied, It is constant. It almost seems like you’re being watched at every moment, like every corner you turn, there is someone there. Even after it stops, if it ever does, you still feel that presence of a person there, watching your every move waiting for something they can blow back in your face. I have a dream.. that all children can be treated with respect and that one day my children can walk into school and no be scared of what was to come of them. Not one child should have to be worried about what they are doing at any given time. Children should be able to roam free without a single worry in their mind about bullies and can focus on the important things in life.  

All eyes on Pompano Beach, Florida

In Pompano Beach, something strange was found. There was a baseball sized eyeball that washed ashore from the Atlantic Ocean. A man walking on the beach saw it and turned it in to Florida's Fish and Wildlife Agency. For days, they had no clue where this came from or whom it belonged to. Their first guesses were a whale, squid, or a tuna. Based on what they could see, they concluded that it belonged to a swordfish. To make sure, they did DNA testing. Now they have added it to their "20,000-plus specimen collection."

What if....

 What if.......... You were invited to two parties that were on the same day?

If I was invited to two parties, and they both are on the same day, I would attend neither. I wouldn't go to either because I wouldn't want to upset the person who's party I didn't go to. Don't get me wrong, I love parties but, I don't want to cause problems between me and my friends. I love my friends and the last thing I want to do is get on either of their nerves. If this really were to happen, I would stay neutral.
